Running from any source these are incredibly efficient speakers and have a musical quality that will startle you with its stereo imaging and beautiful open vocals. The speakers have a commanding midbass response and a very exciting, accurate and clear full range sound. The speakers play convincingly down to 60Hz if modest sound levels are required, and can be used without a subwoofer if so needed, still retaining impressive performance. They should be crossed over to a high frequency speaker by 6Khz if you are using them as a two way system.
